Nu mijn beamer op het pad staat, was het tijd om de Nissan Silvia te koop te zetten. Ik had vorige week te Nissan op trademe gezet (de Nieuw Zeelandse marktplaats) http://www.trademe.c...px?id=519988450 Het loopt nog niet echt storm met de verkoop <_< , maar ik kreeg toch een reactie per sms bericht.

Van ene Ebora Abolaso abolas18@gmail.com. Ik dacht. huh?, want het telefoonnummer was afgeschermd Dus ben ik maar gaan Googlen op dat email adres. Het blijkt dat die gast over de hele wereld interesse heeft in auto's. Ik kwam zelfs een site in Israel tegen waar die "interesse" had in een auto.

De scam gaat als volgt: De scammer reageert met het verhaal dat hij geïnteresseerd is. Vervolgens, als de prijs overeen gekomen is, vraagt hij om je paypal adres om het bedrag over te maken. Hij maakt het bedrag dan over, plus ongevraagd $1500,- (of Euro) voor een transportberijf die de auto komt "ophalen" Het bedrag staat als "pending" totdat het transportbedrijf is betaald.

Ik dacht meteen, leuk :), even reageren en kijken wat er gebeurd. Als hij echt geld gaat overmaken, kan ik misschien paypal waarschuwen en zijn account laten bevriezen.

Ik ben nu dus zover dat ik de prijs ben overeen gekomen en ik heb mijn paypal adres gegeven.

Volgens mij werkt het niet zo maar goed. Er zijn nu 2 scammers aan het werk. Het verschil is dat de ene het als een lollige tijdsbesteding ziet en de ander een wat andere motivatie heeft.

De email zag er wat echter uit, maar net niet echt genoeg. Door het knippen en plakken is de opmaak geklutst.

Dus ik dacht, dat hebben we in iedergeval binnen :guitar: Maar wat was dat een teleurstelling <_< Toen ik inlogde op mijn Paypal acount, stond er nog maar steeds $18,- op...

Dus heb ik terug gemaild:

I have transfered the $1500,- for the transport company to the desired bank account. (Hier lieg ik) Please take in advice that transfering money from New Zealand to Malaysia can take up to a week. (dit is echt waar) Please inform me when you have received the payment.

Ach, het is gewoon een bit of fun. Normaal heb ik geen tijd voor dit soort zaken. Ik zit nu in mijn 4 dagen off. Ik doe 4 nachten van 12 uur en dan 4 dagen vrij.
