hier alvast een stukje tekst dat ik van een forum gegierd heb B) LEFT SEAT BELT GUIDE SCHWARZ 52108410505 RIGHT SEAT BELT GUIDE SCHWARZ 52108410506 If you're hell bent on removing them in order to patch the holes, then, you have to remove the whole seat back covering, (assuming sport seats) It is prolly a lot easier to remove the seats (search archives) then you have to pop off the 2 black buttons at the base of the back of each seat (use door panel tool, reuseable) then pull plastic panel straight up, you have to un do the seat position cutoff switch (yellow strap, which involves popping out the clear, keepers, and with a pair of dykes, CAREFULLY pull th eplastic pins out of the expanding insert (keep for reuse), then unzip cover and unhook front bottom panle from rear bottom panel, then working from the bottom, fold back the cover and cut the 3 hog rings on th efirst listing, then keep folding up to the next listing and cut 3 more hog rings. The next section has velcro on the edges thet you have to seapate to get to the head rest hog rins and cut those. The belt guide is held in place by two press on 1 way friction nuts that you can cut withgood sharp dykes. Now you have to patch the holes. Personally, I'd just leave them on and unused. But if you are going to remove them, then I would get a good leather repair place to just cover the area with a matching patch from seam to seam. By bringing them the seat cover you will get a very nice looking job. There is no stress on that area, so if your leather is smooth black nappa, you could patch it with say a leather repair kit like leatherique, but that area is SO visible, I'd opt for the patch. Hope this helps. I just noticed that the seat belt guide (the black plastic piece that the belt passes through) on my driver's seat is broken. Does anybody have any experience replacing one of these? I can't figure out how it is mounted. ----------------- This is a hacker fix. So I'd be interested in the "legit" solution too.... My passenger side guide was cracked down the middle when a friend who weighs 350 thought he would pull himself out of the seat by grabbing on it. It was cracked in half behind where the belt would usually be. As a result, I could rotate each guide "finger" seperately. In looking at the seat, it appeared to me that the guide is attached from within the seat and therefore not removable. I don't know this for a fact but that's how it appears. I carefully glued it with epoxy. The results cannot be seen unless you are really looking closely for them. The mating surface for the two pieces is quite small and thin, so I added a little bit of plastic underneath. I taped the pieces of the guide in place while the epoxy set using shipping tape that I laid across the seat. (It was hard to get stuff to stay lined up right). Any epoxy that got on the leather was wiped off quickly. It looks good and is holding up fine. I tell people not to grab on it to get out of the car. YMMV. Post a pic so we can see where it's broken..
