Ik had recent dubieuze eer om  de uitval van de rembekrachtiging te mogen ervaren. De afspraak bij de dealer staat voor 16 juni, tijdens het googlen kreeg ik gelijk dit als resultaat:

Affected vehicles include model-year 2020 540i and M340i sedans and X3 SUVs; model-year 2020-21 745Le sedans, X4 SUVs, and Toyota Supra sports cars; and model-year 2019-21 Z4 sports cars. In starting up the engine, the engine management software may cause loss of braking assist, increasing the risk of a crash. BMW did note, however, that full mechanical braking without assist remains available.

 

“The specific engine start conditions consist of either 1) pressing the engine start/stop button two times in rapid succession, or 2) depressing the brake pedal very briefly while pressing the engine start/stop button. This could result in a loss of brake assist. However, prior to a loss of brake assist, the full brake assist function is available for approximately two or three full brake applications, or approximately six partial brake applications. Fully mechanical braking (without assist) is not affected, and remains available.”
